My reviews for The Ravens Revisited by Rhiannon Neeley
I have been slacking on this so I thought since I had a moment tonight, I would update my review lists. Instead of doing them one by one, I will add them into one big one. I am lazy, okay? These were all great reads and I suggest to read them in order to get the full effect of the story.

My review for Vexing the Viscount by Emily Bryan
ISBN-13: 978-0-8439-6134-8
Grade: A
Daisy Drake is considered on the shelf at only 21. It was by her choice because she wants to be independent so that she can learn about anything that she wants. As a young girl she had a crush on an Italian boy a few years older than her. She liked him so much that she cut open his chin.
Lucian Ignacio de Castenello Beaumont, Viscount Rutland is that young Italian boy but all grown up. He remembers Daisy but for far different reason. A scar on his chin will never let him forget her even though he rather.
Lucian’s father, Ellery Rutland, Earl of Monford had lost nearly the entire family fortune. He is rich in title but poor in coin. Lucian has an idea that could fill the family coffers again. There is a legend of buried treasure that could help fix the estates and the homes of his tenants. Until then, his father will hold a marriage of convenience over his head. Daisy has already found buried treasure near her estate and would love to help Lucian. He of course refuses because she is, well, a she. At a masquerade dressed as a French courtesan, Daisy comes up with a great idea and asks for her aunt Isabella’s help. Now Daisy becomes Blanche La Tour, a famous French courtesan. Lucian will accept Blanch as a partner but, there is always a but, she must teach him the joys of the flesh. How can she say no?
I have been in an anti historical mood for a few weeks. Nothing looked good to me at all, which is unlike me. A few weeks ago I received Vexing the Viscount by Emily Bryan in the mail. This book was wonderful and the male role of Lucian was refreshing. He wasn’t the worldly Rake that you normally see in historical books, he was as innocent in a way as Daisy was. He wanted to take care of his tenants so much that he followed a legend that may or may not have been true. Daisy was also a breath of fresh air. A debutant she was not. She had a brain and knew how to use it. The romance between Daisy and Lucian was heartwarming and extremely sweet. They became friends first and lovers second. My anti historical mood is now over!
