Emily Bryan's latest book, Vexing the Viscount is due to realease March 2009. I was able to get a preview and will have a review hopefully by the end of the week.

She was nice enough to let me post a picture of Vexing the Viscount's cover. He is a cutie! She also sent me a blurb to share. For more information on Vexing the Viscount or her other books, see her website at http://www.emilybryan.com/index.htm

Blurb from Vexing the Viscount:

My Review of Leather and Lace by Taylor Tryst

Leather and Lace by Taylor Tryst
Ellora’s cave, Ebook, September 2007
ISNB: 9781419912511
5 out of 5

Lukas Nathanial Lace is the CEO of a multibillion-dollar corporation called Lace Inc. He was brought up to act as he should and show no emotions. Weakness was not something his father tolerated. His mother on the other hand, showed him unconditional love.
Cleo Tanek is a private investigator who used to work as a police officer for 10 years. Cleo now works as a private investigator for hire.

An envelope of cash is sent to Cleo by a courier service without a name of who hired her. She is to watch and document what Lukas does. It had been hard to uncover personal information on him since he almost lived like a hermit outside of the public eye. While at a restaurant, Lukas sees her and starts to talk to her. The heat between them is intense and hard to ignore. An afternoon of passion is all she can give him and herself. When Cleo finds out who hired her, she is devastated to find out that she may have given that person the information to kill him. That person might even be working with his own brother, Tommy. Now she has to try and convince Lukas that she really didn’t lie to him, protect him from his brother and try not to fall in love with him.

I am always looking for new authors to try and when I find one that I like, I tell all. I am used to reading about alpha males and how they are always in such control and perfect. Lukas was different and came across human in many ways. He doesn’t have that untouchable feeling to him. Cleo is a tough cookie and is a woman who doesn’t like to give control to others but she has no second thoughts with Lukas. He is able to be himself with her and she is able to lower those walls she has built around herself. The love scenes are written well and add to that special chemistry between Lukas and Cleo. They are explicit but balance well with the story line.
